Band Land and Lyric Lane

Music in underappreciated. Its look a as something to just listen to, and while that may be true, some people see music as a best friend or a life saver. Sometimes we have to dig a little deeper to what songs are really saying. I’m going to share some of my favorite artists and songs so maaaaybe it will spark a bigger interest in music in general.

First is the amazing and wonderful 10/10 band Twenty One Pilots:

Twenty one pilots or TWENTY ØNE PILØTS, and sometimes abbreviated as TØP (lol i know, weird right?) is an American musical duo (no one really knows what kind of music they play. Punk? Rap? Rock? No one knows) originating from Columbus, Ohio. The band was formed in 2009 by Tyler Joseph along with former members Nick Thomas and Chris Salih, who eventually left in 2011 ( cri cri :(), and currently consists of lead vocalist and keyboardist Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun. Tyler came up with the band’s name while studying All My Sons by Arthur Miller, a play about a man who must decide what is best for his family after causing the death of twenty-one pilots during World War II because he knowingly sent them faulty parts for the good of his business. I know, weird right? I love tyler because he has such creativity and meaning to pretty much all the songs he writes. Now, lets talk about another special person. We obviously can’t forget him. No, never. We  have to acknowledge how amazing  Tyler’s best friend is Josh Dun.Josh is such an amazing dummer and best friend. Josh and Tyler work so well together to create amazing songs for all to enjoy.  Any song of theirs is 10/10 (would totally recommend)

This song is Kitchen Sink:

The next band that is also 10/10 would be Panic! at the disco.

They have a more complicated history. Members leaving. Now, some people may say that it’s kind of a little just Brendon! At the disco now so yikes. Panic! at the Disco is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 and featuring the current lineup of vocalist Brendon Urie, accompanied on tour by bassist Dallon Weekes, guitarist Kenneth Harris and drummer Dan Pawlovich. It was first founded by the original band members and childhood friends Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, Brent Wilson and Brendon Urie. However, things were falling out so sadly most of the members decided to go their separate ways. It still breaks my heart. Okay let us stop for a second and like talk real serious stuff…. BRENDON URIES VOCAL RANGE IS RIDICULOUS. Okay he can sound like a baritone and then all the way to a high soprano. What is that? How is this man so gifted, like come on, save some talent for the rest of us. Again, any song that you listen to is amazing but i’m going to put one off of their newest album.

This song is L.A Devotee

The final band that i’m going to talk about would be the wonderful, the amazing, the sassy Fall Out Boy!!!!

Fall Out Boy is again an American rock band formed in Illinois, formed in 2001. The band consists of the amazing vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump, the hot and sassy bassist Pete Wentz, the cutie guitarist Joe Trohman, and the drummer who never wears shirts (no seriously i have been to two of their concerts, didn’t even start with a shirt on.) Andy Hurley. The band originated from Chicago’s hardcore punk scene (lol tru), with which all members were involved at one point. The group was formed by Wentz and Trohman as a pop punk side project of the members’ respective hardcore bands, and Stump joined shortly thereafter. Its funny because since Patricks last name is Stump, the band continuously find ways to implement any sort of stump in their music videos. Its honestly so funny. The song i have chosen is a classic and it’s hard to not to like. It makes me personally get happy and want to dance.

This is song is young Volcanoes:

Now, I hope you enjoyed all of my special bands that I hold so dearly to my heart (dreamy sigh). That is all for today! Peace :).
